To recap, we use gerunds ( verb +ing) :

1. after prepositions like 'to', 'for', ' in', 'at', 'of', 'about', etc.:

I'll think about joining the club next year.

2. after certain verbs, such as 'avoid', 'enjoy', 'finish', 'go', 'suggest', etc.:

I always enjoy relaxing on the sofa after work.

3. As nouns as the subject or object of a sentence:

Swimming is one of my favourite sports.
I don't like running.

Science Activity

The pupils of 6B went around the school to carry out a Science experiment to find out how different factors such as temperature in different environment affect the organisms living in the environment.

 

6B Science Project

The pupils of 6B were tasked to work in groups to research on the various natural habitats and these are the PowerPoint slides which the pupils had come up with.
